Application Market Place for Android based phones is a funky place. The commenting system is truly jacked up. I saw many nasty and disturbing comments left by users. Many discussions around the matter can be seen here, just search for “comments”.
From a developer’s perspective it’s extremely sad to be trashed by a bunch of bozos. Almost feel lucky that our stuff was not trashed that bad. Fingers crossed. The interesting part on the matter is Google’s reluctance. It looks like they recently started cleaning up some of those comments; I see less and less. Come on Google, how difficult could it possibly be to integrate a profanity filter !
I didn’t intend to bitch about the epic fail of Google’s Android Market commenting system. It is what it is and it will stay as it is until they fix it.
This one, on the right is a recent comment which is left for Txtract . I find it sorta amusing and witty. A different kind of compliment (if it really is a compliment). “victory and female genitalia to you“ . Oh well! Thanks to you “punkofevil”, for your good wishes. Wishing the same back at ya

Booze - Fish Bureau of Investigation - Most Wanted
I’ve been looking for this photo of Booze (my cat), finally found it ! posting it here, as I do for some of my stuff, so that I won’t loose it again.
This photo was taken after we found him next to our fish. Fortunately, he was cleared off all charges of first degree fish-murder. It was technically impossible for Booze to jump on the kitchen counter to accomplish such a hideous action.
The verdict was; the fish committed suicide. Booze innocent !
There are 20 bikes across the globe that take a picture every 60 seconds while in motion – then the photo is tagged with GPS info, uploaded to Flickr and plotted on a map. You can see the world through the cameras of of those bikes and their riders -let’s call them the YRiders – via the Maplication tool on purplepedals.com.
That’s cool. Very cool indeed.
But there is something way way cooler, imho.
How about following a Donkey around Amsterdam ? Yet better read the blog of its adventures. I have no idea what Asino blogs about, perhaps it’s in Donkeyish, or in Dutch, same difference to me. It’s very entertaining see a Donkey’s eye (or DRiders) view of Amsterdam.

Whoever cutting those trees down should stop immediately, so our environmentalist friends can stop making videos like that. Please stop killing the trees, and help those people out of their misery. Forget about the environment, pollution, end of the world etc. Do it for the sake of silencing them.

This email is obviously from someone who does not know what GPL means. Indeed, let me rephrase; from someone who does not know how to read.
ocszone.com clearly states – in multiple places- that the software we develop and distribute is free of charge unless stated otherwise. Most of those notices are in different colors and bold, so that they will be eye-catchy. And we do NOT demand any private and financial information.
